Ascend Ends 2020 with 2 New Investments

2020 was a difficult year. Despite all the hardships and inability to travel, Ascend Capital Partners was able to finish 2020 with two new investments!

Ascend closed its investment in Neteera Technologies in March 2020. They join Northwell Ventures and other investors in the Series A round. Based in Israel, Neteera develops remote contactless sensing technology intended for automotive, medical and IoT applications. The company's novel technology is based on the detection of electromagnetic emissions from sweat ducts allowing for reliable and speedy biometric identification along with monitoring of other physiological parameters, such as stress, fatigue, pain, alcohol influence, drug abuse detection and medical diagnostics, enabling clients to conduct contact-free, continuous, safe and cost-effective vital signs monitoring.
