Elaine has over 6 years experience in management and financial consulting. Her projects covered various topics, ranging from financial reporting/audit readiness, strategic planning, business process reengineering, and change management.

Before joining Ascend, Elaine was a management consultant at PwC and smaller boutique consulting firms. She specialized in financial management, operational effectiveness, data analysis and strategic planning. Her clients included the US Federal Government, major utility companies and local growth companies.

Elaine is active in the start-up and investment community in San Francisco, New York City and Boston, by attending conferences and networking events in the area to stay informed of the ecosystem and industry-specific trends.

She has worked part-time for Ascend in previous years as an analyst in Beijing and is familiar with how Chinese companies operate. She manages Ascend’s healthcare investments.
